This image represents the colours it uses very well because it uses mainly blues. The colour blue implies distance and coolness and this picture shows this because the picture shows a landscape and makes us feel cool as it doesn't represent a hot atmosphere. These different shades of blues are almost satisfying to us because it helps represent a cool and calm atmosphere. If there was more shades of yellow/orange it would make us feel a bit warmer or more joyful.

The colour blue also represents distance and the fact that this is a landscape represents the distance very well. Also, this picture uses yellows and oranges, oranges represent friendliness and warmth. This image doesn't show friendless as such but it does represent warmth, the fact that some of the image is orange it shows that the orange is taking over the blue and creating a warm atmosphere.

I like how photographers isolate the other colours in the picture because it creates a good effect. The umbrella almost represents a simpler version of the colour wheel as all these colours are somewhat near each other on the wheel, which could also show that this picture represents analogous colours.

Green represents nature and peacefulness which links to this picture because we can see grass and it almost looks like nothing is going on in the picture. It also represents restfulness which we can see in this picture because the picture makes us feel calm as nothing seems to be going on in the picture.

This image represents colour well as it uses violet. Violet links to fantasy and unrealism, this is shown in this picture because it is very rare that wee see a violet sky. The fact that the violet sky is shown with a landmark makes us think that this picture is of some importance because this is a famous landmark. The different shades of violet create a good effect because this is the only colour we really see as the other parts of the image are shown to be in darkness.
